● Pyracantha, Pyracantha coccinea, also known as firethorn, is a dual-threat Prepper plant that can be utilized for both security and wildlife. The plant grows extremely sharp thorns all over its branches, growing so thick that humans and animals would never be able to penetrate it.

Description

● Firethorn grows to a mature size of 15 feet tall and wide and is perfect for growing in USDA zones 5 to 9. Site location for planting would include full sun to part shade and the shrub is a medium-to-fast grower. Pyracantha is highly adaptable and will tolerate poor and compacted soils, heat, drought, heavy pruning, and just about anything else. White flowers will bloom in May through June, with the fruit becoming available in September and lasting until wildlife has eaten it all. This is a great barrier hedge that grows thickly and up walls–a perfect dual-threat plant for the Prepper nation.

I ordered six one gallon pots.  I received ten plants of varying size in which, two were of decent size, two were dead and some were small enough not to be priced more than $8 dollars.

Although I guess you tried to make up the difference with quantity versus size, I was a little disappointed with the end product.
It does seem a little pricey for what I received.

Had I been more particular about the size of the plants, I would definitely have been very disappointed.  All in all, I would say the deal was about even, or a little less.
